Getting Real Actionable Advice on the Path to Union š¤Æ
Note: This is an opinion piece. Not everyone will agree with me and Iād love you to hit reply and tell me what you think. Iām not trying to offend anyone or point fingers, but I belileve this might help someone.
Part of me loves how much advice we can get online to further a spiritual journey (twin flame or otherwise).
We can now connect with like-minded people. People who know why we celebrate our wins or understand why we sometimes yell and scream in anger.
People who can advise us because theyāve been there. Theyāve been through it.
Iām sure there are people out there who wouldnāt have reached union in this lifetime without this type of connection and guidance.
But thereās also a problem.
There is so much advice out there which is just āfluff.ā
Some positive-sounding advice that isnāt actionable. It isnāt useful. It might make you feel better for a few minutes, but nothing is going to change in a meaningful way.
There are absolutely some circumstances where uplifting stories and motivational affirmations can help. Sometimes we need a laugh or an extra boost through a hard time.
I have no problem with this. If it helps you, Iām absolutely for it.
You just canāt let it trap you into staying in one place.
Thatās where it can become dangerous.
The twin flame journey is all about growth. Itās about healing. Moving forward. Pushing ourselves to be better so that we can experience better.
What got you here, wonāt get you there.
So, how do we focus on things which actually move us forward and toward union?
Be discerning. Find someone (or some people) you trust. Someone who shares similar beliefs and offers non-judgemental advice. Donāt be afraid to ask questions; pay attention when you get the answers. Even if theyāre not the ones, you were hoping to hear.
Actually, do it: When you find advice that resonates with you, put it into practice. Today. Please donāt keep it in your back pocket as something you might try one day.
Reflect and adjust. As you apply advice and changes, reevaluate as you go. Donāt feel you need to keep doing something that no longer serves you.
Share your experience. Be open to sharing your journey with others. Not only does that open you up to getting more advice, but it might also help someone in a similar position. (You can always reply; weāll feature your story on Twin Flame Collective).
Keep growing. The path to union isnāt always a straight line. Iām not sure it ever is. Stay open to new ideas and never stop seeking growth in every area of your life.
Iāll never tell you what to think, how to act or what you āmustā do on your twin flame journey. This path is entirely unique to you.
But I do worry when I see people constantly reading the same advice, always getting twin flame readings, or always seeking reassurance without making any changes to their life.
If you feel stuck, thatās okay. It isnāt always easy to know what you should be doing.
Just be open to making a change and follow through when you find something that resonates with you.
Twin Flame Story š: A Sign From the Universe
After my morning meditation session, I asked the universe for a sign.
I know Iām a twin flame. I know that union is out there waiting for me. Itās just hard to tell sometimes if he really is my twin flame or a karmic connection here to teach me something.
So I asked for a sign. Something big. Something obvious. Something that would leave no doubt in my mind that he is the one.
As I was getting dressed for the day, I wore a jumper that I never really wore anymore. Iām embarrassed to say it has a few too many holes, but I have a sentimental attachment. I wore it on our first date.
As I went about my day, I almost forgot Iād asked for a sign. Iāve been trying to limit how much time I spend on Instagram (because I know Iām just going to check his posts) but come lunchtime, I give myself five minutes.
And there it is.
He was wearing the same shirt he wore on our first date.
With the caption: Feeling nostalgic today, I think Iām missing something.
My heart skipped a beat. This couldn't be just a coincidence. It was as if the universe had orchestrated this moment to give me the sign I had asked for. It was big, it was obvious, and it left no room for doubt.
This synchronicity was the confirmation I needed. It reminded me that the universe always listens and guides us, even in the most unexpected ways.
Despite the challenges and the uncertainty, I knew deep down that our connection was more than just a karmic lesson.
I did something I hadnāt allowed myself to do in a while. I sent him a DM and attached a photo of myself wearing the jumper, saying: "Funny, I'm feeling nostalgic today too. What are the odds?"
As I hit send, my heart raced, but I felt an inner peace that I hadn't experienced in a long time. I knew I had to take this leap of faith and trust the universe's sign.
We started talking, catching up on each other's lives and reminiscing about our past. The conversation flowed like it used to before he had to move away.
Weāve even made plans to meet up again, taking things one step at a time. It's exciting and terrifying, but deep down, I know it's what we both need.
Iām so immensely grateful for that sign I so desperately needed. I might have been getting less obvious ones all this time, but I wasnāt open to them.
If I had one piece of advice I learned from this, it would be to stay open to the universe's guidance. Not to get wrapped up in your thoughts. No matter how difficult separation might be.
Trust that love is meant for you.

Iāve written a lot about external signs guiding us. I do think twin flames are more spiritually aware than 99.9%, and they probably are sent signs way more often than we think.
But being open to them is another thing entirely. And taking action on the sign is just fantastic.
